Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Disney announced that they would be getting in the prime-time holiday special game back in May with "Prep and Landing." But fans awaiting the half-hour special will have to wait another week. President Obama's Tuesday night speech at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY means its preempted for another week.
Originally scheduled to air Tuesday, December 1st, "Disney's Prep and Landing" will now premiere on Tuesday, December 8th at 8:30pm ET/PT on ABC. The special will also air on ABC Family on Friday, December 18th as part of the network's "25 Days of Christmas."
"Prep and Landing" is executive produced by John Lasseter, who directed "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2," and features the voice-work of Dave Foley ("A Bug's Life"), Derek Richardson, and Sarah Chalke (ABC's "Scrubs"). In the special, two elves are sent on special missions to prepare houses for Santa's visits.
